Weekend on the Water – Session 2 (Saturday 7th)

Date: 7th May 2022 Location: Holt Island, St Ives

The 2nd St. Ives Sea Scout Group are running a weekend of water-based activity sessions on Holt

Island, St. Ives. Each session will include 2 activities with all equipment and instruction provided.

Session Limits: 48 places are available for each session

Booking: Bookings to be made in multiples of 6 cubs

Activities (per Session): Bell Boating & Land Rafting

Cost: £10.00 per Cub

Location: Holt Island, St. Ives. PE27 6DG

Home Contact: All Cub Packs will need to arrange their own in Touch System

Clothing: All cubs will need to arrive in appropriate activity clothing. A change of clothes (including a towel) will need to be brought with them – it is not anticipated that participants will get wet, however, keeping dry is not guaranteed.

Cubs and leaders will need to wear their Group Necker. A Tuck shop will be available on site for snacks and drinks.

First Aid Facilities are provided but it would be advisable to bring a small First Aid kit for you to deal with any minor incidents.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
